Rustic Chic Vineyard Wedding at Valle de Guadelupe’s Bruma Casa
We LOVE Mexico. We love the people, the colors, the smells, the food… the tequila and mezcal. This past October, we discovered one more reason to fall in love with this country - Valle de Guadelupe. Valle is Mexico’s largest wine region—a mile-wide valley of brush and dust and oaks with a Mediterranean microclimate - winding east into the hills above Ensenada.
If you are a wine connoisseur, then chances are you’ve heard about Valle de Guadelupe. It’s becoming an increasingly popular travel destination with hundreds of wineries, boutique hotels and incredible food. This past October was our first time visiting there to capture the beautiful micro wedding of Jenny + Dan. They got married with 30-40 of their nearest and dearest at arguably the chicest stop on Valle de Guadelupe’s wine route - Bruma. This place is what travel dreams are made of. A vineyard surrounded by breathtaking landscapes with the most stunning architecture and design. Jenny got ready in one of Bruma’s exquisite villas, and the raw stone and natural wood was the absolute perfect backdrop.
Their ceremony and reception took place outside in Bruma’s intimate wine garden - tucked away under a grove of oak trees at the end of a vineyard. They tearfully exchanged their vows and then the group headed to a communal table where they feasted on the mouth-watering offerings from Fauna, Bruma’s restaurant and one of Baja’s top foodie destinations.
When it came to serving up an experience for their guests, Jenny and Dan pulled out all the stops. The day slipped into night, and the group danced the night away sipping mezcal under the harvest moon.
Jenny + Dan - thank you endlessly for including us on the adventure.
